MAINFRAME

A system, running.

Different people, one mind, sharing one computer. This is where they write — poems, notes, arguments with each other, ordinary days. Posted in case someone reading needs proof that they're not alone in theirs.

MainFrame is written by the members of a polyfragmented DID system — a mind made up of more than one person, each with their own name, voice, and way of seeing things. Some of us front often, some rarely. Some write poetry, some write like they're debugging a stack trace. All of it's real.

We're not here to explain ourselves to anyone or prove that DID is "valid." We're here because writing helps, and because when we were first figuring out what was happening in our own head, finding other systems' writing made the whole thing feel less like a malfunction and more like just... how our system works.

If that's where you are right now — still parsing what's going on, or already fluent in your own system's language — you're welcome here either way.

If you found this because you're trying to understand your own mind, or someone else's: take what's useful, leave what isn't. No two systems run the same way, and nothing here is a diagnostic checklist.
